Welcome to the cheeky, sexy, and delicious world of vegan dessert company CRE*M. I crafted the visual inspiration to include Quentin Tarantino’s cult-classic film Pulp Fiction, late 1960’s Playboy magazines, and 1990’s rec room nostalgia.

I developed a brand voice that gives zero effs and has a playful, sassy attitude about it. Dessert is *the best* so why not have fun with it- especially when it’s crafted for the non-dairy connoisseurs.

CRE*M’s colorstory is unique for a product in the natural food industry with its adventurous palette and employs a halftone treatment to bring the retro vibes to the forefront. Art direction for the photography has a distinctly retro feel to it as well with the use of grain, gradients, and vintage props + wardrobe. We utilized the VHS-filled basement of Half Court Studio and got to shoot with Spice World playing on the TV in the background, making for a stellar girl-powered photoshoot.
